There are several people I am truly grateful for in my life. For example, my mom, my brother, and my grandmother. Firstly, I am grateful for my mom. She always is there to listen to whatever I need to say. In addition, whenever she notices I am upset she gives helpful advice and always manages to cheer me up.
In addition, someone who I am grateful for is my brother. My brother is an older figure who I know I can look up to for anything. Last year as a freshman, he was a senior and he'd talk to me about how the school works and guide me into transitioning to a new school. He'd also help me with sports and come and support me at my games.
Lastly, I am extremely grateful for my grandma. Even though I don't get to see her every day or all the time, I call her everyday to see how she is doing. She always manages to make me smile and cheer me up all the time.

Twitter Swaps Star for Heart as its New
Favorite Icon
Favorite Icon
- The social network said Tuesday that the familiar star icon on tweets used to express approval has morphed into a heart icon.
- Now known as a "like," Twitter's new icon will also let people favorite the six-second videos on Twitter-owned Vine ; similar to what they can already do on Twitter's live-streaming Periscope.
- Twitter is struggling to get its users to enjoy the new icon.
- It's also seeking ways to make itself simpler to use and, therefore, more attractive to both users and advertisers.
