Web 2.0 Do Now: Writing Prompt (cloak)

Wearing an invisible cloak for 1 day, I would definitely perform a good deed. Especially during this time many people could use extra cheering up. People who lost someone in the family or if someone is upset, being there without them knowing who I am would make me feel special that I did something to make someone happy.
A good deed I would do for someone who is elderly is bring them groceries and make them dinner. Learning from experience, when I make my grandparents dinner or bring them coffee they always get cheered up.

Doing good deeds makes not only the person who you are doing something good for but it makes you feel good inside. After doing something nice you feel a sense of relief and calmness thinking you made someone feel good or smile.

Do - Now 12/6

  • Which class would you add to our school curriculum that we don’t already have?
  • When would the class meet
  • what would the students do?
  • What would it look like, feel like, and sound like?
  • And what would the students produce to show/demonstrate their learning?
1. I would add a photography class to our school's curriculum.
2. I would want the class to meet in the middle of the day, so students aren't as tired as they would be in the morning. They would be intrigued in the class if they are awake and ready to learn.
3. The class would take photos and analyze them to make it creative. Also, they would learn new techniques on how to take a high quality picture verse a low quality picture.
4. The classroom would be filled with color and design. The students should always feel welcomed to come in and ready to learn more about the science of photography. The classroom wouldn't be silent, it would be filled with a good toned atmosphere.
5. The students would first learn the basics and create projects based on the learning that day or week.
